What is Laser Hair Removal?

We use a 1064nm wavelength laser that targets the hair follicle to prevent future growth. This laser is safe on all skin types. Treatment areas include:

  • upper lip

  • chin

  • underarms

  • bikini line

  • arms

  • legs

  • back

  • Depending on the area treated, it can take as little as 15 minutes and up to an hour. The laser will feel like a rubber band snap on the skin. We typically cool the skin with ice packs but do not use numbing to ensure that the settings are suitable for your skin type.

  • Typically you need 3 treatments to see the best results. The treatments should be 4-6 weeks apart. It is best to have the treatments done in the colder months to avoid prolonged sun exposure while you are completing the treatments.

  • All Fitzpatrick skin types can use this laser for removal. We pride ourselves in working with all skin types and providing a safe experience.
